DISCOVER THE STORY OF BASTIDE DU ROY

       Antibes, on the edge of the golf & the village of Biot, the property, appears with Majesty behind the terraces and olive trees.

       Residence given to Henry IV in 1608 as a wedding present.

The Bastide was sold to the City of Antibes by Louis XV in 1779.

 

 

       1924, the famous fashion designer Jeanne Lanvin buys the estate as a wedding present for his daughter, her muse Marguerite, known as Marie-Blanche Lanvin and her son-in-law Count de Polignac, member of the Princely Family of Monaco.

 

 

      In 1971 following his marriage with Bianca, Mick JAGGER - Rolling Stones spent a summer at the Bastide du Roy.

 

      The sculptor CESAR lived in here for four years alongside the famous Parisian antique-dealer Jean GISMONDI, surrounded by their friends ARMAN, BEN, FOLON, FARHI, CASTELLI, LALANNE 

and other great lyrical names such as Nora AMSELLEM, Teresa BERGANZA.
